Greenlighting receives the Queen's Award for Enterprise

Worcester based Greenlighting Ltd receives the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise, Innovation Award, for the development of a new service.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are awarded to businesses for outstanding achievement in International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development. The Award for Enterprise Promotion (QAEP) is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to promoting and enhancing enterprise among UK entrepreneurs and companies. 

Greenlighting received their QAE Grant of Appointment from the Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire on 22nd September at their premises in Worcester.  The Queen's Award recognises Greenlighting’s development of a pioneering customer service charter for the British house building market to support its LED lighting products. As a lighting designer and manufacturer Greenlighting has worked with the house builder for well over a decade.

The Queen's Award for Enterprise is now in its 50th year and a total of 254 awards were made this year, 92 for Innovation. Companies who receive the award are able to fly the Queen's Award flag on their premises and use the emblem on their stationery, advertising and their products.   In addition, HM The Queen hosts a reception at Buckingham Palace for representatives of the winning companies.
